Healthcare Communications

With ten years of experience in healthcare communications, I know how to get to the essential ideas of a medical story and convey it with meaningful impact.

I went to Medical School at SUNY Downstate for three years and went on to become a VP in Healthcare PR at major global agencies. As a result, I have extensive medical knowledge and communications acumen in the healthcare and pharmaceutical arenas.

I edit and write medical journal articles, medical books, disease awareness content and manage US and global PR campaigns.

As a contractor, I have:

  • Edited a series of cancer manuscripts for publication for Howard Bruckner, MD on his novel, low-dose, multi-drug chemotherapeutic approach.
  • Worked at DNA, an InterPublic company, doing science writing for Celgene, Merck and Artistry.
  • Sourced an epilepsy primer for Time Inc.
  • Written for Berkeley Wellness on floatation tanks, running and yoga.

I spent 10 years working at global healthcare agencies–Weber Shandwick, Ketchum–as a Vice President for clients, such as, Eli Lilly, Pfizer and Takeda, among others.

I’m currently available for short and long term contract work.
